We are excited to announce that Gladis Pablo-Cruz, a senior at Fremont High School, has joined us as a communications student intern! Gladis is a passionate climate justice activist with Youth vs Apocalypse and notably involved with their “No coal in Oakland'' campaign. She is also an active participant in the REAL HARD youth leadership program. Born to immigrant parents from Guatemala, she is especially excited about being a leader and participant in a Maya Mam club at her school, which fosters cultural and social connections among school mates with a similar heritage. Gladis is bi-lingual in Spanish and English, which will be extremely helpful for our election year outreach.
